Our People

Cathy started out as a qualified teacher of modern foreign languages teaching in and around London.

Before the merger with Advantage Schools, Cathy was chief executive officer of The Shared Learning Trust. Prior to this she held leadership roles, including assistant headteacher and deputy headteacher in secondary schools, and was principal of The Stockwood Park Academy for a number of years. Her responsibilities as deputy CEO include quality assurance and working with individual academies to improve the quality of education and raise achievement.

Cathy is also an Ofsted inspector, trustee of HertsCam and a governor of a local FE college group.
