Cathy has over 30 years of teaching experience, 20 of which have been in leadership positions with 8 years’ experience as the Chief Executive Officer of The Shared Learning Trust. The Shared Learning Trust merged with Advantage Schools in September 2024.

Advantage Schools benefits immeasurably from Cathy’s substantial experience as a Trust leader and Ofsted Inspector, and hence she is integral to delivering the highest quality provision in the schools.

  
Cathy’s expertise in strategic planning, quality assurance, leadership and safeguarding drives Advantage Schools’ vision of delivering the highest quality of education and pupil outcomes, serving the community.

 
Cathy is a governor of a local college group and trustee of a teacher-led CPD organisation, underlining her commitment to education and training.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Deputising for and directly supporting the chief executive in all aspects of the leadership of Advantage Schools  

• Contributing to the strategic oversight of the trust 

• Strategic oversight of education.

• PGCE, Cambridge University  

• Certificate of Further Professional Studies, Cambridge University  

• NPQH, National College of School Leadership  

• Chief Executive Programme, SSAT.
