Our People

Simon Campbell has over 19 years of experience working in senior leadership roles in education and law.  

Simon has been with Advantage Schools since September 2018 and prior to joining the Trust Simon was a practicing solicitor where he had created, developed and grown his own legal practice before merging it with another nationwide provider where he then held a senior management position.  

He has invaluable expertise in business development and growth, strategic planning, project management, legal compliance, governance, human resources, training and operational/property management. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Strategic leadership of the school estate and other property ensuring operational excellence in our schools and in the trust’s central team 
• Conducting key project management 
• Supporting Trust leaders with operational advice and support 
• Leading on procurement and monitoring of premises-based contracts 
• Overseeing capital and individual school building projects 
• Overseeing Health & Safety matters across the Trust 

Education and Qualifications: 

• Legal Practice Course 
• Graduate Diploma in Laws 
• BA(Hons) History

Simon is fully focused on providing schools in the Trust with first rate facilities to enable optimal provision and outcomes for pupils.
