Chief Financial Officer

Nazish is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Advantage Schools, overseeing the financial strategy and operations across the Trust’s diverse educational institutions. With extensive experience in financial management and a strong background in external auditing, Nazish brings a unique blend of analytical rigor and strategic insight to the role. 

Prior to becoming CFO, Nazish spent many years in external audit, specialising in the education sector. This experience provided her with a deep understanding of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance, while honing her ability to scrutinise financial data and deliver insights that drive organisational success. Through audits of many schools, universities and not-for-profits organisations, Nazish developed a nuanced understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing educational institutions. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Overseeing the Trust’s financial operations, ensuring financial stability, and guiding strategic decisions to support long-term goals 
  • Management of budgeting, financial reporting, risk assessment, and resource allocation, while ensuring compliance with regulations and providing financial insights to senior leadership.   

Education and Qualifications: 

  • BSc in Accounting and Management Information System (1st Class)
  • ACA (Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales).

Throughout her career, Nazish has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, working closely with executive teams to implement strategic financial initiatives and enhance operational efficiency. Her expertise in financial leadership, combined with her deep understanding of the education sector, enables her to make informed decisions that balance financial sustainability with the needs of the schools and students the Trust serves.
